Assi Tuchmair and Barak Rosen Named to Maariv’s 2025 List of the 100 Most Influential

Maariv included Assi Tuchmair, Chairman of Israel Canada, and Barak Rosen, CEO of Israel Canada, in its 2025 list of the 100 most influential figures, ranking them at No. 53. For the duo, 2025 marked a clear shift toward a deeper international phase, reflecting the continued expansion of their real estate activity beyond Israel’s borders.

The primary focus was the United States, particularly Florida, where they continued to advance projects built on strategic partnerships established earlier. As described, the international push was not viewed as a one off initiative, but rather as a long term growth engine designed to broaden the arenas in which Israel Canada operates and exerts influence.

In July 2025, that direction received a notable financial vote of confidence when The Phoenix, a leading institutional investor in Israel’s capital markets, assigned a valuation of NIS 1 billion to the broader portfolio of their investments in the Miami area. This assessment reflected, according to the report, the local market’s strong belief in the feasibility of executing their US based vision.

Also central to the story is Canada Global, the group’s international arm, which gained additional momentum through a partnership formed in late 2024 with Flow, the real estate technology venture led by Adam Neumann. The combination of the partnership, meaningful control, and growth expectations formed a key part of the narrative behind their ranking in Maariv.
